OCTOBER

2-4   Kentucky Futurity Quarter Horse Show
Offering youth, amateur and open classes including pleasure, halter, barrel racing, reining and pole-bending.

3-4   Jump Start Horse Trials
An event, sponsored by the Keeneland Pony Club, offering dressage, cross-country and show jumping competition.

8-11   Kentucky Fall Classic Saddlebred Show
An "A" rated show featuring American Saddlebreds, Hackney ponies and roadsters competing in performance and equitation classes.

15-18   International Farrier Competition  CANCELLED
An international competition sponsored by the American Farriers Association featuring the best farriers in the world gathering for competition, seminars and entertainment.

16-18   M.S.C.T.D.A. Team Challenge Horse Trials
Individual and team competition in dressage, cross-country and stadium jumping with novice through preliminary levels.

24-25   National Morab Horse Show and Futurity
Two days of competition for Morab, Morgan and Arabian horses with classes in halter and performance.

1   Sheiks and Shrieks Fun Show
An open fun show benefitting the Kentucky Horse Park Mustang Troop sponsored by the Society for the Arabian Horse in the Bluegrass.

This show kicks off a winter series of dressage competition at the Kentucky Horse Park.

The Kentucky Horse Park is conveniently located off Interstate 75 at Exit 120, just minutes north of downtown Lexington.

Park Hours

 

Open:

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Daily, April - October

Closed:

Monday and Tuesday, November 1 - March 31
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Campground open year round.
